We have always wanted something fancy like our very own cinema and when we decided to get it done we spoke to 4 companies, all varying price and with different visions. By far and away Wolsten were the easiest to communicate with and were the 2nd best priced. As you can see the outcome is spectacular, I genuinely didn't think a concrete garage could be transformed into something like we have. - Christian & Caroline
Project Overview
A 10 day garage conversion to Cinema Room project completed for a delighted customer in Carrington. The client wanted built in audio, along with a feature wall, to add something unique and classy.
A brand new dedicated consumer unit for the room was fitted and a wood panelling for the exterior.
- To begin, we removed all the old fixtures and fittings and upgraded the consumer unit in the garage.
- We laid floor insulation along with a new chipboard floor.
- We then proceeded to layout the room and erect the stud walls ready for the wall insulation and then plasterboard.
- We then carried out our first fix of the electrics and internet cabling.
- We proceeded to plasterboard the walls and ceiling, finished off with a new laminate flooring, laid throughout.
- Our attention was then drawn to the exterior in which we fitted bespoke wood panelling.
- Finally the room were plastered painted and second fix electrics completed.

Liam spent about 40 minutes on the phone with me offering free advise on work that was advised through a personal survey. He gave me a lot of clarity and put a lot of my worries at ease. He went through each concern and game me contacts of specialists in those areas. Amazing and so king to give me free advice!!

I worked with liam and the team on a HMO conversion in Preston.
We rewired the full house ensuring all emergency lighting and smoke detector systems were to regulations. We also installed Arc Fault Detection Devices to ensure additional protection for the electrical services.
It was a pleasure to work with them and everything went smoothly i would have no problem doing work for Liam and the team again.

Recently reached out to Liam and the team for help replacing a steel beam supporting a knock-through on the ground floor of our house, a project that was itself the first stage of fixing a non-compliant loft conversion carried out by a previous owner.
FarrellWolst were happy to discuss the project at length and provide excellent and much-needed advice even before we had asked them to carry out the works.

We had our garage converted from a storage area to an office / gym. It took 7 days, including fitting a new door and window. Everything went perfectly and whatever was promised was delivered.

Absolutely delighted. Liam and Paul converted my garage for me, into two rooms. One is a storage area and the second is a work area for my business. All completed in 4 working days (HARD WORK!) Couldn't recommend enough.

I had a Garage Converted in August. I had it converted to a storage room to an office with heating and electric. It's fully kitted out, to a really good standard. I would recommend.

We had artificial grass put in the back garden and are so pleased with the result. Liam was great all the way through the process and delivered a brilliant result, would highly recommend.

Recently had our back garden transferred from a mud patch into an amazing space to relax in and the kids to play, the artificial turf recommended was perfect and expertly fitted, after a few recommendations from Liam he knocked up a small flower area with some sleepers to finish the garden off.

Would recommend. Very happy with the loft; the guys were always on time, polite and never left mess. The double wonder staircase was a challenge with the space and access but Paul fit it with incredible skill!
