A mammoth, and transformative project to work on. The garden had been abandoned by the previous owner for years, as such it was in one of the worst states we have seen. It took 6 days to complete the whole project, with three full time members of the landscaping team partaking in the transformation.

Day 1 – We cut down all the thick heavy vines, and worked back to ultimately achieve a blank canvas. To top it off, we applied industrial grade weed killer and lay down a weed membrane.

Day 2 – We laid out the markings for the garden; a 4m x 4m patio area, a 4m x 5m artificial grass area, a 4m x 2m patio area, with an integrated allotment (purpose built sleeper beds), finishing off with a 4m x 2m gravel section to the rear. We laid our timber surrounds for the artificial grass and began laying MOT across the board as a sub-base.

Day 3 – We levelled off the sub-base and screed the bases with a fine layer of sand. We then lay our first two rows of flags at the front of the garden and began erecting the new purpose built fencing at the rear of the garden.

Day 4 – We finished off the fencing, and backfilled the rear with the gravel chosen by the customer. We proceeded further with the front patio, completing that, enabling us to move our attention to the artificial grass, which we lay and fixed.

Day 5 – We lay the second, patio area at the rear, and fitted a new fence post along with a wooden fence.

Day 6 – we cleaned thoroughly, laying fine layer of sand over the new patios and artificial turf area, and we finished the project by create a purpose built allotment 3m x 3m.
